UtopYA 2014 and Sacrificed Update

I hope everyone is doing well. I know I have continued to be quiet on here. My real world job has been quite busy lately, keeping me from talking to you all. I will be having some announcements in the coming weeks for you though, so stay tuned for that.
In the meantime, you may have noticed my UtopYA Exhibitor Badge on the side of my webpage!! I’m so excited for June. My dear friend and writing sister, J.L. Durfey, and I will be attending the conference AND we will have an exhibitor booth at UtopYA in Nashville this year. I can’t wait!! It’s going to be a BLAST!!! Along with that announcement, I was hoping to have Sacrificed out by the time UtopYA came along, but life never goes quite like we plan does it? So while it won’t be out by June, I am hoping to still have it out in 2014. I know I had said early 2014 originally, so I apologize profusely to those of you who have reached out to me saying you’re waiting. I’m so appreciative of your support and the love you have for Ariya. I never thought I’d get so many wonderful messages about this, and I can’t thank you enough!!! I don’t want to rush the process because I want to give you what you deserve – an exciting and adventurous ending to this story. I pour everything I have into these books and right now, there are some things in my personal life that have gotten in the way of that. I hope you understand. It is being worked on! You will have a Book 3! And hopefully, it will be worth the wait. There are 2 teasers posted under Sacrificed Teasers if you want something in the meantime to look at.
I will say, I was blocked for awhilee, before life got in the way, because I didn’t love what my characters were doing. After talking to J.L. and getting her always supportive viewpoint, I decided to just write out what my characters wanted, even though it was hard for me. I am so glad I did!! The thoughts are flowing again and the book has taken a direction that has surprised me. I’m hoping that means you’re surprised as well! I want to make sure you are getting a great ending to the Ariya Adams trilogy!!
